Why Do I Keep Switching Affiliate Marketing Strategies?

In the previous post (Part 5), we learned that getting more traffic doesn’t automatically

mean getting better results—your traffic needs a clear path and a purpose before simply

adding more clicks. But even when we have a strategy in place, another problem can creep in:

“Why do I keep abandoning what I’m doing every time a newer,

more exciting affiliate marketing strategy comes along?”

Monday:

“I’m going all-in on blogging!”

Wednesday:

“Actually, Facebook Reels are the answer.”

Friday:

“Forget everything. I just discovered AI automation.”

Sunday:

“Why am I exhausted?”

Welcome to the shiny-object treadmill.

I’ve certainly been tempted by it.

The newest strategy always looks more exciting than the strategy requiring us to patiently continue working.

Consistency Creates Information

Instead of constantly switching, choose one useful activity and give it enough time to teach you something.

Try a 30-Day Consistency Challenge.

Pick ONE:

One Facebook post each day.

Three Reels each week.

One blog post each week.

One weekly email.

Thirty focused minutes each day.

Then:

Pick It → Stick With It → Track It → Improve It

Ask yourself:

“What would happen if I stopped looking for a better strategy for 30 days?”

You might finally collect enough information to see what’s actually working.

That’s an important part of developing a realistic content strategy for beginners.

Your Next Step

Choose ONE activity.

Write today’s date beside it.

Commit to it for 30 days.

Don’t switch next Thursday because someone discovers a “secret traffic loophole.”

Give consistency a chance.
