In the previous post (Part 7), we discovered that adding more marketing tools doesn’t
necessarily make affiliate marketing easier—sometimes a simpler system with the right tools
gives us more clarity and focus. But even with a good system in place,
There’s another obstacle that can stop us cold:
“What if I’m afraid I’m doing affiliate marketing wrong?”

Have you ever written a Facebook post and read it so many times that
eventually the words stopped looking like English?
You change one sentence.
Change it back.
Move a comma.
Move the comma back.
Then decide:
“I’ll publish it tomorrow.”
Tomorrow becomes next week.
Congratulations.
You have created the world’s most carefully edited post that nobody has ever seen.
Take Imperfect Action
Fear of making mistakes is understandable, particularly when you’re
learning affiliate marketing with no experience.
But here’s the problem:
You can’t get feedback on something you never publish.
Your website can be improved.
Your emails will get better.
Your content will improve.
Try the 3-P Rule:
Prepare → Publish → Polish
Make it useful and accurate.
Publish it.
Then improve based on what you learn.
Ask yourself:
“Am I improving this—or postponing it?”
Sometimes that’s all we need to hear.

Your Next Step
Find ONE thing you’ve been postponing.
Give yourself 30 minutes to finish it.
Then publish it.
That’s taking imperfect action.
Coming next: We’re getting close to putting all these pieces together.
In Part 9 we’ll ask:
“Is There an Easier Way to Learn Affiliate Marketing Step by Step?”
And we’ll explore why having a structured path may be more useful than
collecting another folder full of bookmarks.
